The work will consist of the following:

8. Site Furnishings
9. Shade Structures
11. Drinking Fountain
12. Natural Area/Native Plantings
13. Landscape Plantings
14. Seed restoration
A Certified or Cashier’s check payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. In addition each Bidder shall submit a proof of insurance demonstrating the Bidders insurability. Failure to provide a Bid Bond or proof of insurance shall render the bid incomplete and rejected. The Owner will require the successful bidder to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Bond for the total contract. Once submitted, no bids will be withdrawn without written consent from the Owner’s Attorney.
The following projected timetable should be used as a working guide for planning purposes. The Park District reserves the right to adjust this timetable as required during the course of the bid process.
BID Released – April 30, 2018
Pre-BID Meeting – May 8, 2018 2:00 PM at the Project Site (optional).
Questions Due – by 2:00 PM on May 9, 2018
BIDS Due – May 14, 2018 by 2:00 PM Local Time
Anticipated Award Date – May 23, 2018
Questions will be answered in the form of written addenda and provided to all Bidders, as per State of Illinois statutes. Submit questions regarding the bid in writing to Bob Collins, firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 2:00 PM on May 9, 2018.
