The work will primarily consist of:

• Public Works Building (3) Small Projects:

o First Floor Office area
▪ +/- 1,570 s.f.
▪ Divisions of Work: Carpentry, Doors and Windows, Finishes, Electrical

o Partial Second Floor Office remodeling
▪ +/- 800 s.f.
▪ Divisions of Work: Demo existing closet, expand receptionist office, replace
carpet, minor Electrical

o Maintenance Staff Office and Storage interior addition
▪ +/- 250 s.f. New Office, +/- 250 s.f. open Second Floor Storage
▪ Divisions of Work: Demo, Concrete, Miscellaneous carpentry, Exterior Siding,
Insulation, Doors and Windows, Wall, Floor and Drywall Ceiling finishes, Mechanical,
Lighting. Sprinkler by Design/Build Contractor.

• Government Center (1) Small Project:

o 2nd Floor Mailroom
▪ +/- 150 s.f. of area remodeled
▪ Divisions of Work: Demo, Metal stud and Gypsum Board, hollow metal Frame
Door and Wood door with Light Kit.

All work shall be in accordance with the specifications as set forth in the Contract Documents, plans and other
State and Local regulations as applicable.

Bidder to submit definitive Gantt Chart Schedule at the time of the Bid to complete all 4 projects within 45 days of start date. Proposed Start Date September 30, 2019. Insurance, Bonds etc. completed between the Award Date of September 17, 2019 and September 29, 2019.

Bidders are advised of the following requirements of this contract: 1) Illinois Prevailing Wage; 2) 5% Bid Security with the bid submittal; 3) 100% Performance Bond.
