2022 Playground Renovations at Lincoln Elementary School and Clifford A. Johnson Elementary School

Sealed proposals for the 2022 Playground Renovations at Lincoln Elementary School in
Wheaton, IL and Clifford A. Johnson Elementary School in Warrenville, IL, shall be
received at the Community School District 200 offices: 130 West Park Avenue, Wheaton,
IL 60189 until 10:00 a.m. local time, January 14, 2022, at which time all bids will be
publicly opened and read aloud.
Work includes removals along with installation of playground equipment, engineered wood
fiber surfacing, concrete paving, site furniture, drainage, and restoration work.

Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the
successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor
and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a
contract.
All contracts for work herein are subject to all local municipalities rules and regulations and
providing for the payment of DuPage County’s prevailing wage rate to all workers involved
in these projects. All bids will remain firm for 60 days after the bid opening. The
Community School District 200 the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities on a
bid, and to accept the lowest responsible bid that serves the best interests of the School
District.
