The St. Charles Park District will receive separate sealed bids until 10:00 AM on Tuesday,
April 4, 2023 at the Pottawatomie Community Center, 8 North Avenue, St. Charles, Illinois, for
Otter Cove Aquatic Park Pool Boiler and Heat Exchanger Project.
This project generally consists of but not limited to: All materials, labor, and programming
necessary to install a two new boilers and heat exchangers and associated pumps and piping
for pool water heating in the existing filter building at Otter Cove Aquatic Park Pool.
Bid documents will be available from Accurate Repro, Inc.’s Planroom beginning Monday March
13, 2023 at 9:00am. Plans are available for printing or download. Phone: (630) 428-4433

The above bids will be opened and read publicly at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at
the Pottawatomie Community Center.
Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the
successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and
Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract.
The St. Charles Park District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any
proposals which, in its judgment, will be to the best interest of the Park District. Only bids in
compliance with the provisions of the specifications will be considered.
All bidders must comply with the applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of Kane County
prevailing wages by all contractors working on public projects, and bidders must comply with the
Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor and bidding, including Equal Opportunity Laws.
