Robbins Park Treehouse Playground Renovation

Sealed proposals for Robbins Park Treehouse Playground Renovation Project in Hinsdale, IL, shall be received at the Village of Hinsdale Office: 19 East Chicago Avenue, Hinsdale, IL 60521 until 11:00 a.m. local time, January 20, 2026, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Work generally includes removals, installation of playground equipment, concrete paving, engineered wood fiber surfacing, and lawn restoration.

Bids shall be submitted in the form and manner specified in the Instructions to Bidders and other applicable portions of the bid documents.

Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract.

All contracts for work herein are subject to all Village of Hinsdale rules and regulations, and providing for the payment of DuPage County’s prevailing wage rate to all workers involved in this Project. All bids will remain firm for 60 days after the bid opening. The Village of Hinsdale reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities on a bid, and to accept all or any portion of any bid, and/or to award the contract for the Robbins Park Treehouse Playground Renovation Project to the lowest responsible and responsive bid meeting specifications that serves the best interests of the Village of Hinsdale.
