The work for which bids are to be received generally and briefly consists of the following:
o Office Area
▪ +/- 2,000 s.f.
▪ Divisions of Work: Interior Demolition, Carpentry, Doors and Windows, Finishes,
Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical.
▪ Demo existing ACT and replace with new elevated GWB ceiling. Install new GWB over
all existing walls.
o Attic Area
▪ +/- 2,000 s.f.
▪ Divisions of Work: Demo existing mechanical system. Install new furnace and ducts.
Re-insulate attic.
o Meeting Room
▪ +/- 1,400 s.f.
▪ Alternate #1: Re-paint Walls.
All work shall be in accordance with the specifications as set forth in the Contract Documents, plans and other State and Local regulations as applicable.
Bidders are advised of the following requirements of this contract: 1) Illinois Prevailing Wage; 2) 5% Bid Security with the bid submittal; 3) 100% Performance Bond.
This is a Prevailing Wage project.
Work expected to start December 9th, 2019. We would like to be completed by January 24th.
